AutoCAD Draftsperson

This position will work closely with the Project Management team which handles installation planning for all types of x-ray imaging centers – Hospitals and Urgent Care facilities, in order to create, update, and maintain medical x-ray room layout plans for existing or new construction facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare x-ray room layout drawings using AutoCAD
• Document the interior wiring and electrical layout (including conduit layout, junction boxes, etc.) of components contained within x-ray room

• Document modifications to drawings and specifications as projects progress

• Work with Project Manager to capture and produce layout that displays all product requirements for either new or existing equipment installations

• Verify that all drawings convey accurate information

• Assist with the written documentation, procedures, technical manuals, and other documents involving room layouts

• Work under close supervision of Project Manager

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years Layout Design experience in AutoCAD
• Ability to create space plans and room layouts
• Attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and willingness to learn and explore
• Personal discipline and work ethic with respect to time and attendance
• Education: High School Diploma or GED

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with Autodesk Revit
• Experience with SolidWorks
• Experience as an electrical Drafter/Detailer
• Experience in steel/sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing
• Drafting experience with medical products and working in a medical or similar regulated industry
