APOLLO EZ
Compact, advanced R/F system
Compact, advanced R/F system
Apollo EZ was developed as a system aiming to be small and compact with the ability to overcome any restrictions and installation limits put in place by narrow work environments. For this reason, Apollo EZ is available with either 2-way tabletop movement for maximum compactness, or with 4-way tabletop movement, in order to maximize patient coverage area, combining tabletop and tube/spot film assembly longitudinal movement.
Rapid and concurrent movements reduce patient preparation time and increase workflow dramatically. On the film-based versions, the powerful spot film device, available with either line or cross divisions, can fit virtually any application need, while the one-hand cassette loading and unloading mechanism grant a maximized speed for this frequent operation. Thanks to the retractable grid, the operator is never required to manually remove the grid even in examinations where it is not required. Finally, on the Apollo EZ, the extended focus distance can arrive up to 71 in (180 cm) allowing to obtain chest images comparable to those done on a chest stand. This makes the remote-controlled room suitable for routine exams.
Apollo EZ has been engineered using the most advanced and sophisticated technologies. The new console, based on a wide 12 in touch screen display, improves dramatically the system’s usability. Its immediately accessible commands offer the maximum efficiency and assure an optimal workflow. In addition to the commands available on the Touch Screen console, all table movements can also be activated via the tableside keypad to improve efficiency during the patient preparation phase.
Apollo EZ is entirely engineered and manufactured at Villa headquarters in Italy, leveraging on our recognized skills in the manufacture of remote-controlled tables and employing European-Standard production processes, guaranteeing an excellent price/performance ratio. Even when used in the most stressful environments, including bariatric patients, the Apollo EZ is assured to work efficiently thanks to its 440 lb. (200 kg) weight capacity and no movement limitations.
By employing a number of provisions such as reduced skin-to-film-distance, automatic collimation, and a fully automatic parameter setting in both fluoro and exposure, a patient is always given special attention by us in an effort to reduce the dosage. Additionally, in order to grant the highest level of safety, a dedicated anti-collision device on the vertical tilting movement stops the motion in case of contact with foreign objects
Should you want to combine the performance of the Apollo EZ with the advantages deriving from digital imaging, a possible solution is represented by our acquisition systems based on Image Intensifier: Diva-D and Diva-HDE, featuring a 1K x 1K, 12-bit camera and up to 25 frames per second acquisition speed in fluoroscopy. Full Dicom connectivity is assured for seamless integration into your PACS network, as Diva-D and Diva-HDE support the most common Dicom 3 operation classes (Print, Store, Worklist). Finally, an optional CD/DVD writer can be supplied with Diva systems for immediate image backup directly at the system console.
